Join us for a delightful creative escape with local artist Jane Wharton. The experience begins with a warm welcome of tea, coffee, and homemade biscuits before settling in for a 2.5-hour watercolour workshop at 11am.
Jane will guide you through key watercolour techniques, with a special focus on layering, light, and shade to bring depth and dimension to your work. With all materials provided, you’ll have the opportunity to create your own beautiful watercolour and pen painting, inspired by a carefully chosen subject.
After a morning of artistic exploration, relax and indulge in a homemade afternoon tea featuring delicate finger sandwiches, fruit and plain scones with clotted cream, seasonal preserves, and an array of delectable cakes.
